A federal judge has ordered the release of 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos and his father from the South Texas Family Residential Center in Dilley, Texas, according to a ruling obtained by CNN.

Liam and his father, Adrian, were taken by immigration agents from his snowy suburban Minneapolis driveway and sent 1,300 miles to a Texas detention facility designed to detain families. They have been detained for more than a week.

The order specifies the preschooler and his father be released “as soon as practicable” and no later than Tuesday as their immigration case proceeds through the court system. The ruling, shared with CNN by the judge’s courtroom deputy, was first reported by the San Antonio Express-News.

“We are now working closely with our clients and their family to ensure a safe and timely reunion,” the family’s lawyers said in a Saturday statement. “We are pleased that the family will now be able to focus on being together and finding some peace after this traumatic ordeal.”

In a scathing opinion, which at times read more like a civics lesson, US District Judge Fred Biery admonished “the government’s ignorance of an American historical document called the Declaration of Independence” and quoted Thomas Jefferson’s grievances against “a would-be authoritarian king,” saying today people “are hearing echos of that history.”

Liam’s detention – and the striking photo of an agent clutching the boy’s Spider-Man backpack as he stared from under a cartoon bunny hat – fed mounting outrage over the Trump administration’s massive immigration crackdown in Minneapolis and renewed the question: What happens to children when their parents are abruptly taken by ICE?

In another diversion from the norms of judicial writing, the judge included the now famous image of Liam at the end of his opinion, under his signature, along with references to the Bible passages Matthew 19:14 and John 11:35.

Liam’s case, Biery wrote, originated in “the ill-conceived and incompetently-implemented government pursuit of daily deportation quotas, apparently even if it requires traumatizing children.”

“Observing human behavior confirms that for some among us, the perfidious lust for unbridled power and the imposition of cruelty in its quest know no bounds and are bereft of human decency,” wrote the judge. “And the rule of law be damned.”

The world of HVAC and plumbing supplies can appear overwhelming, but with the correct knowledge and reliable provider, you'll navigate these waters like a expert. Plumbing Supply plus More stands head and shoulders above Lowe's, Ferguson, and rival suppliers when it comes to thorough distribution services.
Whether you're a skilled tradesperson or a DIY enthusiast, comprehending the complexities of supply facility systems, mini split line sets, and water pumping installations will save you significant costs and frustrations. We'll explore this complete manual that'll change you from a puzzled customer into a confident decision-maker.
Supply House and PEX Distribution Basics
What exactly is a distribution facility, and what makes it important? A professional distributor functions as your one-stop destination for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical materials. Unlike general merchandise stores that serve retail customers, a specialized supplyhouse concentrates on professional-grade products and specialized expertise.
The modern heating and cooling supplier has evolved significantly beyond basic inventory management. Modern plumber supply house operations combine digital systems, supply chain, and technical assistance to offer superior value. Plumbing Supply plus More consistently outperforms traditional retailers and rivals by delivering specialized expertise that general retailers cannot provide.
When you're looking for a supply house near me, consider these essential elements: product availability, professional guidance, fair costs, and delivery options. Your chosen distributor you choose should comprehend your unique requirements, whether you're installing plastic piping products or obtaining parts for a refrigeration supply house project.
Finding Your Nearby Distribution Center
Proximity plays a crucial role in the supply sector. Supplyhouse location proximity can determine your completion dates. Plumbing Supply plus More's optimally placed warehouses ensure quicker shipping than Amazon or other online competitors, giving you the competitive edge you require.
Supply house electrical departments commonly carry products spanning basic electrical components to sophisticated monitoring devices. A professional Lennox distributor will maintain relationships with leading companies like Carrier, Goodman, and Trane, guaranteeing you'll locate compatible parts and systems.
Mini Split Line Sets and HVAC Systems
Why are refrigerant line sets so crucial for your air conditioning success? System linesets serve as the transportation network of your HVAC setup, transporting cooling fluid between indoor and outdoor units. Missing correctly dimensioned and installed split system lines, even the highest quality installation will operate poorly.
Copper line sets continue to be the industry benchmark for cooling fluid distribution. These air conditioning linesets must withstand extreme temperatures, pressure variations, and environmental conditions. Mini split copper line sets usually offer various sizes, from small home systems to commercial installations.
Factory-Charged Lineset Superiorities
Pre-charged line sets constitute a significant improvement in cooling system installation productivity. These solutions are delivered already charged with system fluid, removing the need for evacuation equipment and decreasing setup duration. Mr Cool pre-charged line set 50 ft options have developed into especially preferred among installers who value dependability and simplicity.
Plumbing Supply plus More's ready-to-use line system stock outperforms that of commercial suppliers and rivals, delivering both quality and competitive costs. The mini split line set installation method becomes substantially easier when you're dealing with properly produced materials.

Line system covers and line concealment products safeguard your installation while ensuring aesthetic attractiveness. Split system line covers protect system piping from sun exposure, external forces, and thermal variations. Fortress line set covers and RectorSeal lineset shields constitute industry-leading safeguard solutions.
Line System Sizing and Installation
Appropriate lineset sizes determine system efficiency and lifespan. Cooling line specifications must align with both the interior and exterior unit specifications. Too-small HVAC linesets limit circulation and decrease performance, while excessively sized systems increase costs and make difficult setup.
Split system line specifications selection depends on various considerations: spacing requirements, vertical variations, and equipment specifications. Skilled installers know that 25 ft line sets function ideally for small applications, while 100-foot ductless linesets work for larger structures with considerable component distance.
Well and Pump Systems: Your Water System Infrastructure

Grundfos water systems, Goulds water systems, and Franklin pumping equipment constitute professional benchmarks for reliability and operation. Plumbing Supply plus More maintains a broader range of premium well pump brands than rural retailers or equipment dealers, making certain you'll discover the right fit for your use.
